I love web delopment as an art expresion, the creativity potencial when you know how to code is really atractive. But the process of learning so you can get a job is just… heart breaking. The bootcamp process consist on learning the trending tech, as fast as possible, leaving no space for true understanding of what you are doing. And if you want to learn by yourself is no different either. I feel like free tutorials just focus on “How to that” “How to this” and doesn’t focus on “Why”. I mean, i just want to know what is the reasoning behind your code desitions, how those can affect user experience?, and the f*ck good practices means?.
Am i asking too much? ̄へ ̄
I don’t want to sound like a hater, but man, “It’s a good practice” is not justification enough for me to just accept whatever you say. There must be a reason for things being one way or another. technology is something made by other human beings like you and me, looking to solve a problem. And in the same way i am a flawed person, programing isn’t perfect either. You need to understand the tools you use, and what purpose do they serve?. So you don’t end up frustrated while adjusting a screw with a hammer.
